Hope House for the Multiple-Handicapped is a private non-profit organization which provides homes for people affected by autism and the other developmental disabilities.
Founded in 1963 by parents, Hope House serves people presenting a variety of challenging physical, emotional and developmental needs. Services are designed to assist the person to become as self sufficient as possible through unconditional support and positive motivation.
Helping Families Since 1963
With the current cutting back of State funding we are in desperate need for donations to help maintain our high quality residential programs.
These programs provide an opportunity for individuals who on a daily basis face adversities and challenges. They all deserve a caring home and the opportunity for a happy and fulfilling life.

April 27, 2010 Update: GOVERNOR SEEKS MORE RATE CUTS!
Many thanks to those of you who have responded to our call for assistance. We are thankful and most appreciative.
The State of California has announced that additional rate cuts for providers will be part of the next budget. We have already absorbed funding cuts from 3 to 10% in our services, and more reductions will negatively impact services for people in need.
We need your support for our homes serving children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
